Z, NL SNEL
This 1992 NA Nissan 300ZX 2+2 was originally purchased at David McDavid Nissan in Houston, It was a gift from Arnold van Ek to his wife Adriana for her 50th birthday. She had always wanted a red sports car. When they left Texas to return to Europe, Arnold sold the car to his oldest son. They both drove the car from Houston to Virginia in an epic road trip. The car is owned by the oldest son to this date and should remain in the family for many years.
Favorite Feature
T-tops: nothing beats taking off the t-tops on a nice day and cruising some back roads in the Virginia fall. Car still has the original pouches and straps which allow the tops to be safely stored in the trunk.
Best memory
Since the car is a 2+2, it allows for a child seat to be strapped in the back. Some of my favorite memories of this car involve taking my daughters to school/daycare and laughing with them as it accelerated. While this is "only" a non-turbo automatic Z, I would not change it for the world since it is a family car. Being able to drive my mother's sports car and knowing my kids still enjoy it as well is priceless..
